Academic Supervision

I offer academic supervision to psychotherapy and counselling trainees for work on essays, dissertations or research projects. This is different from clinical supervision.

For many years, I worked in Russell Group universities teaching history. Much of this was related to some of the traumatic history of the twentieth century, especially around the Second World War, the Holocaust, and empire. I supervised dozens of student dissertations at undergraduate and master’s level, and several successful doctoral theses.

I have also taught counselling trainees as primary tutor throughout their degree course final year.

I now bring this experience and these skills to help psychotherapy and counselling trainees at Diploma, Undergraduate degree, or Master’s level achieve their best in their academic work.

This is via one-to-one help with your assignments. Many people who have worked with me have found that their marks have improved and their understanding of the training has deepened.

Do please get in touch if you are interested in discussing this further. I am happy to work with you for a single, one-off session on a particular project, or have regular meetings – e.g. during your final year. Just call or email via the contact section of this website.
